I learned how to do this at high school 37 years ago. Still can do it today as a 52 year old. Love the looks I get from the younger generation. Some things never leave you.

The best moon walk tutorial on earth, you are the best man.

Great tips for a beginner tutorial. Here are additional tips to make the moonwalk actually look real: 1. Don't bend the knee of the most behind leg (too far) at the end of the slide; when switching foot stance, while sliding the front foot backwards, slowly bend the knee of the back leg. This gives the impression that you are actually sliding on the moon 2. Same as number 1, but instead of bending the knee, this time bend the foot further from the beginning of the cycle until mid-cycle. If you can't bend it further, then it means you didn't stop half-way at the end of the cycle (which is what makes the moon-walk look real) 3. Only the first cycle: completely turn around the foot that is up, and the other foot that is down, then moon-walk with this and mid-cycle (so, we are still in the same cycle) we switch foot-stance so that one foot is up, while the other foot is flat. This will give it a very long, dynamic, magical moon-walk look 4. Bonus: if you can do the side-ways and multi-side moonwalk (which requires other tips) then you can add these additional tips to the backwards moonwalk as well 5. To make it like MJ, you can moonwalk while completely leaning your body forwards 6. To make it look like a professional breakdancer, combine the moonwalk with arm-body waves, shocks, electric, robotic and mime 7. Move arms opposite of legs to give that illusion

It’s the middle of the night and I’m lying in bed when I found this video. I got up, switched on the lights, put on socks, sprayed the floor with a deodorant so I can slide better and after few minutes I got the step right :) hopefully I can remember them tomorrow as well
