Funny thing. I grinded in the demo so much, my first team is almost as highly leveled as your current team. I already have more that 1000 faces, and I just arrived to Neksdor.

For those who want to beat the game without dying so quick, I suggest grinding

I may not be a newbie but I am glad that they censored the final boss in case if there are newbies.

I like how not only do you have to split into teams to defeat them but at last stand you literally have to defeat the darkest lord and save your teammates stolen faces at the same time

I know some people like to grind for max level to destroy everything, but honestly, I think I enjoy the final boss more when it feels accurate to the story. You know for a damn fact you shouldn't beat the final boss in 3 turns. (Yes, you can do that in this game)

Seeing the credits, the faces of all the characters are the same, but some of them have different names. For example, The Great Sage is called Sophie in my game, but looks exactly the same.

I was so close to beating this the first but my character died at the last minute.

This actually looks like a final fantasy boss fight

On my first full playthrough on the 3ds I already knew about the losing your party after each world, so I purposely grinded and only used the miis I would get back first. I didn’t know about the Darker Lord’s Hand battles, so those ended up taking me like 5 hours of grinding where as I beat the Darkest Lord first try

This boss was so epic that Ubisoft took some pages from his notebook and designed the final boss fight of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope with the same gimmick of destroying the boss’s hands first before being able to attack the actual boss!

i beat this boss on the first try with 7 turns, this boss makes me afraid of the sun and i have post game depression because of this boss.

Finally an HD version of the final boss area.

fun fact: you can speedrun through the darkest lord’s battle by using the Cat’s horse whispering (the cat must be level 50 and have the legendary claws + cat suit.) This has to be on the first turn otherwise it won’t count. this will then get the darkest lord to low hp, and since it’s not the darkest lord’s turn yet, this gives your other party members enough time to defeat the boss before it skips straight to the part where it brings all your party members to 1 HP.

So I’m gonna explain what happened with my team: I had a good start until I made it to the part where it takes almost all your HP, when the boss started to attack again, ME AND MY TEAMATES PROTECTED THE THIEF. I revived myself but then a couple turns later my thief dies. I used my hyper and HP sprinkles to kill the boss. In short everybody in my team fell except for me

It's sad that Nintendo didn't add more jobs and gave them 50 more levels come on Nintendo you had one job to remake this game and give it more stuff >:(

I once came up with a 3rd ending where after all this journey and hardships, Briar (MC, Mage/Thief/Cat path) is so pissed off at this curse that while she's now sympathetic towards it, she's also still REALLY salty and decides she's gonna take it from the INSIDE, absorbing the curse but fighting it at the same time, which leads to kinda like... I guess like Malachite (SU), she and the Curse are both half in control, the beast thing it makes is tearing itself apart, and eventually the curse and Briar both die, or maybe Briar's only ridiculously injured or smth

When that extremely strong attack hit, all my mii's were at 1 hp and then 3 of them protected a team member( they didn't survive that hit) then that team member proceeded to avenge them and did over 500 damage. :/

I'm a 3ds veteran and I learned from past mistakes when doing my 3ds playthrough I didn't upgrade my party's gear enough and thanks to that the darkest lord absolutely wrecked my team didn't make that mistake going into the switch version I was constantly upgrading gear and this time my party swept through the darkest lord

As someone who played this on the 2ds it looks SO good on the switch
