I was 17 when Joe passed away. This song has always struck a chord with me and if anyone asks, it's my favorite song. The vibe and political tone fit what I represent. It's not a flashy favorite song of all time but it hits all the notes and well it gets people to listen to the Clash.

Saw The Clash in Purley, Surrey in December 1978....& I was only just 14. And again in 1981 when I was a little bit taller. Scary times but I'm so glad I went.....they were brilliant. 👌

Joe was awesome, & one of a kind as a frontman! I saw the Clash at the at the Hammersmith Palais in 1979 or 1980, & they were excellent! No video will ever convey just how good they were, Joe in particular. They created an atmosphere that doesn't come across on here. Sorely missed indeed!
