When my 13 year old daughter was planning her own funeral , this was what she included in her “ playlist” of her favourite songs. When she died, there was so much family opposition to it being played, but in the end her wishes were respected . As her Mum , I had never heard of it before , but we had it playing at the end of the funeral , as her coffin was being carried out of the church . Every time I hear it now, it takes me back to that day , it never fades. But the song is awesome , and the lyrics are so sadly poignant and amazingly apt. My daughter made a beautiful choice in her funeral ending song .

I listened to this when i was at my worst with depression. I am now married with a beautiful wife and 2 beautiful kids. It does not last forever and i wish everyone the very best of luck in thier journey🙂

I came here after watching Eurovision. It reminded me of how much I love this song. Mika is a genius !

This was my little sisters favourite song, she would play it on repeat for hours on end. She passed away aged 6, we played this as she was laid to rest. Listen to this at least once a day to make it seems like she's still here. Me and my older sister got to meet him as he came into our work one day and he heard about her from a local paper. He gave my mum a signed copy of this song and a hand written note, he is the most kind artist I've met and just that small act helped my mum heal.

This song has been such a huge part of my life. I always come back to this when I am going through challenges life holds for me. It makes me feel a little bit sad but hopeful at the same time. Just like his lyrics, there's no ultimate glory or happy ending in life but we continue on life with a little bit of love as the way we are.

I am speechless. I found this song just a few minutes ago( and I just Couldn'T BELIEVE IN ME, MY EYES, AND the POSSIBILITY THAT just happened.) I saw all comments and all of them are so emotional. Everybody has a memory of that song and that made me shocked. 'Cuz I have a memory about that song too. When I was 10, our Tv's popular music channel was playing that song over and over again. I fell in love with that song. But I didn't have a computer to search and find. And also I didn't know English. I couldn't understand the lyrics. So when I got the computer I started to search for songs that I had listened to on that radio channel once. I found them all, except this. Just a melody was in my mind and through the years, I forgot what was like. 3 days ago, I was thinking about my life and I was feeling so hopeless. I said to myself, If I can find that "can not be found" song, I can do anything. Even though I looked at all lists of 2007's and 2006's hits on youtube and Spotify and many sites that I can't remember their name, I couldn't find it in them. But in a list of 2007's hit songs on Spotify, a song started to play. I was going to change it. Then I stopped and started to cry. I am still crying and I am writing down these lines. I hope you guys read that. I need to share that moment who can truly understand my excitement.

Me too! He was absolutely amazing at Eurovision I had forgot how much I used to love him years ago! My kids are now 18 and 16 but when my daughter, 16 was just a baby I used to put the kids in the car and drive for hours to settle them listening to his album on repeat!

2007 I had such a rough ride. I was addicted to drugs and by the end of 2007, when this song first came out, I had deteriorated further. I was then into my 3rd year of addiction.
