i remember discovering this video 2 years ago while living in Austin, TX when my heroin use was starting to get out of control. the first time i watched this i was blown away by her voice, the second time i watched it i cried. 3 months clean now!

It’s been almost a decade and I still come to this song when I’m lost. Elliot wrote the hell out of this song and you sang the hell out of it. Plus this arrangement really highlights Elliott’s unique style of song writing. Just amazing. Been sober for almost four years now and it’s strange who this song was with me on both sides. Not all of my musical tastes made the transition but this did.
