@@riseabovehatesfrance Light still made the mistake of not telling him that he could kill in emergencies. I do agree that he shouldn't have reaveled the note. Also, since he did go to the bank and obviously should have suspected that they could found the real notebook he should have tested it. He was pretty dumb, or at leat he made a mistake, but Light made one too.

Mikami should’ve left the fake notebook in his bank vault with Takadas name in it. That way he could “help” Light and Gevanni would end up making a replica of a replica lol.

Mikami is damn fascinating. When he got chosen, he was some sort of a second Light. But the further the series had gone, the more he became a fanatic freak. Hm.

Through our lives we are told certain norms that we must follow. Every day in school, by our parents, by media in tv. However, in Mikami case it worked like indoctrination. In his case to psychotic level. People that are victims of indoctrination have natural agression towards those who think in different way. It does not have to be religion. It could be ideology or law. He is obsessed with law, but without kindness or morality. He does not know what kindness and morality is. He is a robot programmed to certain behavior. Mikami is zealot. However, he does not belong to any religion. His religion is law. Brainwashing does not have to be connected with physical pain. You just need to hear certain words enough times. If it is presented in more flashy way, the more it would work. This is why it is important to have open mind and to be tolerant. People need to experience many things, read many books, watch many movies, be open to voice of others. Try everything. Have open mind and always expand your knowledge. Otherwise you will turn into zealot. Your narrow views will brainwash you.

If anyone had common sense and not a God complex like Light, it would be hard to be caught. For those you really wanted to kill... you would first come up with a reasonable scenario on how they would die. Then you would write it down. To keep it from looking patternistic, you would kill a few criminals by different scenarios as well; so they couldn't trace a simple motive back to you if you killed people you personally knew. If you do kill by simple heart attack, do it in small clusters... not in droves like Light did. He wanted to be known, which ultimately lead to his downfall. If he just was patient and took his time without the theatrics, he probably could have won easily.

1.このアニメは2006年に放送が開始されたので10年前ではなく13年前 2.今の子からすると「10年前にこの演出ってスゲー！」って感じなんだろうけど、00年代半ばにもなればアニメのクオリティはかなり高くなっていたんだよ。だからこのシーンは驚くほどのものではない。

Could you imagine this guy at Red Robin or something, and when they ask him to sign the receipt, he gets up, walks about 15 ft from the table, and walks menacingly towards his receipt with his pen to sign it while everyone else is staring at him thinking "Wtf??"? Or like, when he has to put the tip on the receipt he gets up and does a huge swipe at the paper knocking all the other customers food and drinks all over the place?

I just watched Death Note until episode 32, Mikami Teru definitely got me. Honestly, I don't like Yagami Light of his whole ideal. But, Mikami Teru obsession against deleting those evil in the world really got me.

this style of writing should really be taught in schools. I feel this would make things far more efficient, true more elbow room would be needed but that can easily be fixed.
