Carrie & Mike, I don't know if y'all read these or not, but just incase you do: The past few years have been really hard for my family. I have lost 2 sisters & my heart is breaking. My mother is broken over losing her children. I am the only daughter she has left. I was so hurt & mad. Mad at GOD for taking my sisters from me. For not letting me let them know just how much they are loved before they passed. Until I realized they are both with GOD now. Knowing that he has greater things for them in their after life has given me peace in my heart. I know that GOD is with me through the hurt and all I need to do is talk to him. I love y'all.💞💞💞💞

I remember seeing Carrie in her audition for AI, when it first aired. I was just a teenager then, and I remember thinking to myself, there is something really special about her. Yes, she has a stunning voice, but there was something about her spirit that just made her shine. I so appreciate her, and Mike for sharing these parts of their testimony. As a wife, and mother, and most of all Christian, I hope, and work towards these same things in my own life, and family.

The amazing thing about listening to mike and Carrie is that even though they are in the spotlight everyday of their lives, their hearts and family are in the right place they look to God to lead their way, Not like these actors today that marry and divorce in a few months and marry someone else, if you look at the marriages in Hollywood all of the actors children are related to one another, because it’s like they get tired of one husband or wife and they marry another one who already has children from another actor...disgusting because they bread among themselves.
