Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way to Heaven. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Sins like lying, lusting, etc. Repent and trust only in Jesus, and you will be saved! You can be saved because he took the punishment for our sins on himself when he died on the cross, just like someone can pay your speeding fine in court, and you get off free. I was in it. My power went out in Ft. Myers at 2:30 and the eyewall hit at 6:00 and it was just as fierce as this for about 45 minutes. It was shocking. I can hardly imagine what the islands went through. It was brutal here so a Cat 5 is hardly fathomable.

For all you people claiming this storm was over-hyped, remember that 6 million people are without power in Florida. This storm essentially knocked all of south Florida back into the stone age. No power means no gas, no cold food, no air condition etc in Florida heat which most of you couldn't even take.

Six million? I heard it was 11 or 13 million, take your pick. I was lucky to be off for only five days. A mile from here it was 10 days. No power is kinda like that song "There's a hole in the bucket".
@tampabayrails
@tampabayrails 6 жыл бұрын
It was NOT Over-hyped. It caused BILLIONS of dollars in damage in FL. I was without power for 6 days. We had to eat rotting food and the windowsills were damp due to water being forced inside. Trees were strewn all over the place. Roofs were ripped off. And this is as a CAT 1 in Tampa. The main damage was Trees and Power Lines down, but shingles missing, roofs torn off, and signs/billboards down and a report of a large sign flying across several blocks. All of this in a Category 1 hurricane. Imagine the mess down in the keys/naples.

That’s like a Category 4 Hurricane type force in the eyewall in Hurricane Irma in Naples! What I’m seeing in Naples FL is extremely powerful, incredible fierce winds. But what Category 4 Hurricane Michael in 2018 a completely different story in the Panhandle with 155mph winds. Trying to withstand those tornado force winds. 😱🌀

Some people seem to not realize how Hurricane Harvey was hyped up, nobody believed the news channels, most thought it wasn't going to be bad at all, and for some people here in Houston they were right, but many didn't realize exactly how bad it was going to be, now look at the thousands of people STILL in shelters. This Hurricane had everything in its favor and with Harvey making landfall just a couple weeks ago, no wonder people freaked out. Irma could have been much worse for the state of Florida, but thank God it wasn't. Quit with the hyped up bullshit, were all people just trying to keep each other safe.

Yeah "hype" because it turned south in the perfect moment and lost half of its power oveer cuba. If it would have gone only 50 miles north it wouldnst have lost strength at all and Kathrina would have been nothing against what would have happend than.
@tashak5152
@tashak5152 4 жыл бұрын
I’m confused. It Sounds like you’re saying “don’t believe the weather channel because things are never as bad as they make it” -yet you’re also validating the fact that they said Harvey would be bad and people are STILL in shelters because of it....so which is it? Pick a lane. My home in SWFL was inundated with water up to the window sills just hours into Irma, so I am thankful for the weather channel! if they would’ve downplayed it - I wouldn’t have evacuated and My family and I would’ve been trapped in our attic! So if you ARE bashing them - just try and think about how many MORE people could’ve died in Harvey and Irma if it wasn’t for The Weather Channel!

This storm was bad, don't get me wrong, but I don't think the damage is as bad compared to what happened with Harvey. People having to be saved with boats and helicopters. People lost all of there belongings. People drowned. Major highways that literally looked like an ocean because they were so flooded. Yes, I live in Southeast Texas, were Harvey took its toll. My house luckily didn't get flooded, but it almost did. Only reason it didn't is because it's on piers. My garage did get water, but not much. My whole neighborhood has debris on the side of the road. Very sad to see what people lost. I've been through multiple hurricanes over the years (including Rita, which devastated us personally the most), so don't tell me I don't know about hurricanes. I still feel for Florida, and I hope they get their power on soon, and I hope the wind damage and any additional problems gets fixed as soon as possible. I'm just saying I personally don't feel like the devastation was AS bad. Again, that's not to say that this hurricane was not bad by any means.

In my opinion, he should stop doing this. The weather channel presented reports about evacuate, not be there, go find shelter. This is against all the rules about what to do in a hurricane situation, is a total opposite. He looks like an idiot, specially when he was happy and saying that is fantastic to be in the eye of the hurricane and others reporter celebrating with him. is there any respect for all people in shelters?, all people evacuate to another cities? all people they lost their home today?. What kind of comment is this from the weather channel? I'll be against these acts with strength because I believe the way he act looks like he enjoyed doing this, and maybe another people will find is not danger... a total mistake from the weather channel. This is the worse story I've ever heard: a professional channel acting like idiots.
