I know you might be a fan....joking and all that...but Fact, they cannot sing....Ray Parker Jr had issues recording with them, so did Maurice Starr, which is why Ralph did harmony parts....also the tricks in the studio were by the producers and engineers. Just like Tito and Jermaine never recorded playing their instruments until they left Motown. They cannot survive without Ricky and they get no royalties for all those songs they "appeared" on.
