Is it strange to have a favorite referee? Mike always was mine. Something about the way he hit that mat for his three counts and then the way he’d put up his index and pinky to show it was only a two. I don’t know. Weird I know but still my favorite.

I worked for the WWF as a ring announcer. Mr. Briscoe was completely wrong about the ring crew in the south east. Rick Hunter and Scott Mccolm ran that crew because i traveled with them most of the time to save money on travel expenses. i just wanted to give the facts .

I don't think many think of the referee as one of the key figures in a match. the referee is perhaps the most important figure in the ring ... Mike is one of the examples of referee that everyone should follow. =]

I prefer Chioda over Earl Hebner. Hebner would do that cheesy corny over the top kick to the heels arm when the heel was using the rope as leverage
