Oh Mike... I understand. Thank you for putting out music and listening to the Father's heart, even when you thought at first He was leading you away from music!!! His plans are always bigger for our lives than our own. I am currently praying for something that I cannot explain. I read your book "Finding God's Life for My Will" a short while ago... and I have to say, I cried. Somehow, there are dozens of parallels in your thoughts to mine. I no longer feel crazy. I am thoroughly convinced you have enneagram 4 in you, my friend. We are far more than numbers though!!! We who are His are called by name with a purpose both profound and beautiful... so why are we often found standing at the edges of our worlds? I have to believe that satan realizes once we are of the Kingdom of Light we can never be a part of the darkness again, so the devil tries to do the next best thing to tear us down - fill us with self conscious doubts and fears, making us too cowardly to walk in the wonderful things our Father has given us through the Spirit. Let us not be hearers only but people who are doers of the Word - for we have not been given a spirit of fear but a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind through Christ Jesus our Lord. Perfect love casts out fear, and we are perfectly loved by the Father!!! Jesus came while we were still dead in our trespasses with no guarantee of our hearts turning away from sin toward Him. Why? Because God, being the very definition of Love itself, gave us the free will to decide whether to accept or reject Him. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are saved by grace through faith in His finished work on the cross and nothing else!!! Our lives are changed forever when we accept Him, and we have a newfound desire to do what is right and bring joy to our Father. It is not a burden to walk in love towards others. How marvelous are the mysteries of God... those who used to live freely in the passions of the flesh find stability in Christ-like servitude, and those who used to be bound in the clutches of sin find freedom in God. Let us sing praises to Him always and faithfully tell of His wonderful deeds forever!!! Amen.
