Thank you for saying it! As a Met's fan since 1968, this may be the worst I've ever experienced. The great start actually mad it worse. If God bless you Jacob Degrom. How do you do it start after start. I love the Mets, however, tough love is needed in abundance and well over due. Somebody, somewhere, some how, help!.

I am officially praying the METs trade both Syndagaard and DeGrom to the Yankees for whatever. It will make my transition to becoming a Yankee that much easier. I've had enough of the New York Mets ineptitude. Fans blame the players, Callaway, Alderson and the Wilpons. The reality is, it's all of the above. As long as the Wilpons own this team, the New York Mets will not win another World Series.

The Yankees can give the METs a bag of balls and Neil Walker for Degrom. I've had enough of NY Met failure. However, in the interest of fairness, Torres can't be traded. I think Andujar, plus, plus, plus is fair. Plus = top of the line prospect not named Torres.

Come on man. That's embarrassing. No matter how bad things get, if you're a real Mets fan, you don't jump ship to the Yankees. Unless you just want to be like every other front runner, bandwagon fan. The Mets suck and have for most of the 35+ years I've been following them, it goes with the territory. You survive through the bad times so it makes the rare good times mean all that much more.

@DanNJ316 I understand your point, I've been a MET fan since 1973. Almost went crosstown in the early 90's when the METs were shooting bleach at reporters with water guns and losing 95 games. The real embarrassment is the Met ownership. Gonzalez instead Eric Hosmer, Bruce instead of JD Martinez, Vargas instead of Addison Reid and Fraizer instead Mike Moustakas. Always the C+/ B- player, rarely the A level free agent. It's window dressing 101 every single year. I've endured losing, I could endure losing, but the METs are unwatchable. Instead of looking to see how many runs they scored or if they won, we celebrate 3 hits. It's like going to a Dr. and the Dr. consistently perscribes bandaids for a migraine. When that is your reality for 35+ years, you seek a 2nd opinion. The New York Mets will not win a World Series as long as the Wilpons own the team and the WIlpons are NOT selling.

Transition to becoming a Yankee? My God can the Yankees be more of a bandwagon organization? I know far more Mets fans pulling for the Red Sox than the Yankees. Red Sox fans are passionate through and through. They don't just root for the team, when its good. Boston lives and breathes that team during the summer. It's all you hear people talk about up there. Yankees only get NY's undivided attention when they're playing well. Don't be a Yankee bandwagoner.

DeGrom & Jose Bautista (RH bench bat w power for yanks) to yanks for: 1) Florial, 2) Frazier, 3) Sheffield, 4) Drury & 5) Dominguez. Yanks win world series, DeGrom goes to a team where he can win the cy young he so deserves, and Mets start rebuild towards youth and athleticism. DO IT NOW!!!!!!

I'm now down for a DeGrom trade. Keeping him around is just cruel and unusual punishment but unless the Yankees are willing to sell the farm there's no way I would send him to the Bronx. DeGrom requires at least two can't miss prospects plus an everyday player. You just know Brian Cashman is just rubbing his hands together thinking about how he's going to fleece the Mets. Don't do it. Send him to Boston. That that will piss Yankee fans off to no end.
