I had to stop watching. Now I just play ps4 instead of watching the ball game. I can’t stand to watch them look like this.

Their season was off to a lukewarm start then got hot knocking off the division leading teams like the Astros and Indians but once I've seen them struggle against Baltimore, Tampa teams that were suppose to have been beaten, I knew this team was suspect. They can't create runs outside of hitting homeruns. Their starting pitching is mediocre at times, Sevy was awesome the first half, since the all start break he's been hittable. Sonny Gray can't get out of his own head. Bullpen gets spread out too thin because of the starters early exits with high pitch count. The injury to Judge exposed the Yankees inability to find at least a decent right fielder for like a month after he got his wrist broken. Gary can't catch. Its just way too many problems and it feels like this Yankees team got complacent with being just a Wild Card team.

As a Yankee fan, I thought it was absolutely laughable that Yankee fans had the audacity to compare this team to the 98 team earlier in the year. Even during their winning streak against the top teams when they ended up 21-10 I thought it was laughable. What a joke.

Like watching a slow motion train wreck. I am sick of this team as well.

To me the turning point of the season when they got swept by Boston in that 4 game weekend series at Fenway when that first game they were up 4-0 and the Red Sox came back and won 15-7 and the Yankees never recovered from that.

Fans tried telling Mike before the 4 game sweep by the Red Sox, that the Yanks were in trouble. He blew every caller off, telling them they were giving up much too soon.

if you look back at that hot stretch, a lot of it was extremely lucky. I'm aware that it was vs great teams. It was one of those rare moments when every member of the team had it going. They had no business beating the Astros or the Indians in the last games of those series.

this is a weird francesa rant. this is a 100 win team. nobody realizes its hard to be full intensity for 7 straight months. april thru october. the bottom line is know theyre playing oakland for the wild card, why play a full month full throttle. not a bad idea to turn off the accelerator a bit before the playoffs to avoids burnout if they make a run in playoffs. it makes sense.

That 100th win came in Boston to break the back of a great Bosox season. Bucky Fucking Dent to the Bosox. You gotta be kidding me Bucky Dent for NYY fans. That NYY team had a dreadful year until they started to peel a game a week from the Bosox lead and tied them at the end of regular season. Aura....that team had AURA. This team, regardless of record, has not found itself. Anything can happen but I don’t see a team that can win a Championship.
