Dimash is amazing. His stage presence and natural charm really comes across on camera. His chest voice has a great tone, and his high register is so pure, but also really strong as well. Some male singers can go high, but not for very long. Dimash can go high all day long. That last run was around 25 seconds, and even at the end, he didn't sound or look out of breath, he was perfectly calm and sang a bit more as well. “Angel” is the word most people use when they hear him sing, I’m one of them and I’m not religious either. Especially when he sings in his falsetto. Also, he doesn’t look like a little boy in this video, more like a sophisticated gentleman

Believe me, Dimash is as sweet as they get. He is THE most humble person I have ever met, never forgets to thank the people who have helped him get to where he is. He takes 20 minutes at the end of every concert to introduce every member of his band and to allow them time to have a mini solo. Watch any interview of his and I think you will agree :) I highly recommend the interview on his official YT channel however it is 40 minutes, but totally worth it I promise!

You two should listen to him sing his song Unforgettable Day live at Gakku. That performance is unreal. It truly is unforgettable.

You won't believe it, but the couple of bored ladies in the front row you mentioned, are the wife and the mother in law of the composer of this song who is standing right next to them. The composer is Igor Krutoy, a very famous and influential figure in Russia. I believe the wife just feels jealous, since Igor spends too much time with Dimash. 🤣✌❤

I have sat among Russian audiences at various performances and they are very different in their responses to performers from American audiences; but that is a cultural difference between peoples, they are still just as passionate as any other audiences. One of my favorite Russian songs I first heard about 20 years ago in Russia was "Love is like a Dream" by Alla Pugacheva the great Diva. Many other Russian singers have performed the song, but I recently heard one of those performers on russian tv, state he would not do the song again after Dimash did such a great and incredible performance of it.

Dimash's singing is so unique, there is no one can sing like him. When he is singing, I seem like to see a rainbow or an angel in front of me😹. He is so talented 👍

Hi Guys - I'm sure others will soon comment with more accurate information, but having seen many reactions to this and the comments under them, the band backing him up was the one that originally did Sinful Passion. Their lead vocalist died at some point and the Middle Eastern "yodeling" in the middle is some sort of funeral chant as a tribute to him. Also, if you didn't realize it, the insane run that he does after that is something like 23-24 seconds on one breath of air - he takes in air at around 7:22 and doesn't breath again until around 8:45 or so when that run ends. Also, I can't remember the exact details right now, but the man in the white shirt standing at the end is a composer of some significance to Dimash...others will have to fill in the details..

Play It Again with Mike and Ginger I like what you said about the broken glass effect in other singers. You are not imagining that. It comes from not being able to fully control the sound at those high pitches. Dimash has trained to such a level that, even in those high pitches, he is still in total control of his voice. His voice doesn't crack in other words. He is known to have perfect pitch, which is rare for a singer. Just one more element of his vocal ability.

The man standing at the end, in a white shirt, is Igor Krutoy a famous billionaire Russian composer, who saw Dimash here and came out of semi retirement to compose for Dimash. That last note was 24 seconds full belt with runs.

Igor Krutoy (the man standing at the end in the white shirt) is a famous Russian billionaire composer/music mogul who now composes lots of amazing songs for Dimash after coming out of retirement to work, with Dimash after he heard him sing here. You will see Igor accompanying Dimash on the piano where he has composed the song. He writes amazing songs! The Show Must Go On is an amazing next choice. Very different to Queen’s version but every bit as equally impressive! Dimash always makes covers his own. Brian May wrote on his blog that he loved Dimash’s version!
