As a lifetime Washington State Cougars fan, when Mike Leach moved to Mississippi State i instantly became a " sideline" Bulldogs fan. The College football universe lost the most wonderful, loving , intelligent and hilarious people to Coach and mentor student -athletes. RIP Coach , Go Cougs.Go Bulldogs , Swing the Sword !!

He’s a national treasure. Looks like a MSU coach more than anyone. If you’ve ever gone to stark Vegas you get it. Lane also is just like ole miss people. Perfect match for both.

Mike is really weird. But I can honestly say he is a hell of a coach. I worried every year when my Trojans would play WSU. Because leach has that we can beat anyone on any given saturday

Amazing what Mike Leach can do with a football team. He was out in the middle of nowhere (but it's beautiful) in Eastern Washington and it's VERY hard to recruit teens there... Regardless, he was able to do well. It will be interesting to see how well he does in the SEC where he will be able to attract more talent. In 2018, he won 11 games and finished ranked 10th in coaches and AP.

Leach is such an underrated coach who doesn't get the appreciation he should. No other coach can win more with less(resources and players). He builds a successful program everywhere and this will be no different
