Mike Love and Tavana perform a cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb"
We talked about doing this song forever and we finally got around to doing it. No matter how much time goes by, every time I get together with @Tavanamcmoore vanaofficial. l, it just clicks. We’ve played together so much, for so many years, it’s just always so fun. Thanks to our friend Andrew @Theukulelsite for bringing us together and producing this video.

Absolutely humbled this is an incredibly hard piece to cover your soul shined thru while keeping the original mad gritty smooth Floyd feel. My dream to play an experience the sheer bliss you guys vibrate. I know you both are incredibly busy musicians but if you listened to Music Gets Me High on my channel I'd feel fulfilled. The original version too. I can't even play this one on the piano without crying. It's quite depressing if you consider the lyrics. We're all comfortably numb to the terrible attrocities happening every day. We're detached, distracted, unable to cope so we check out of our true feelings and check in to mainstream society, drugs, crime, even the entertainment industry. Heartbreaking really. :-(

Mike Love I cannot thank you enough. This is my FAVORITE Floyd Song (lost a fiancé due to addiction/suicide and it was his favorite) so to hear YOU sing it now, is exactly what my heArt needed tonight. Thank you for all you put out there into the Internet realms currently && IRL. Really dislike the color pink, but I’m liking it on your nails :)) ...I flew with a flight attendant once who would bring a fold-up guitar with him on trips. He also had acrylic nails for picking/strumming he was *slightly insecure* of...I told him I thought it was BAD ASS AF.......just like Tavana’s beard && deep deep voice!
