'Permanent Holiday' is a song about change. So many people have shared with me the change that this song has brought about in their lives, that it’s been their anthem for taking back their power, their sovereignty. It’s brought about no greater change in anyone’s life than my own, though. It’s the song that introduced me to most of you, that brought me around the world. I hope you know all the words by now, but in case you’ve been scratching your head at what I’m saying on a few of those lines, we thought we’d put together this nifty lyric video for you, complete with syllable-building bridge breakdown section, in case you want to try your hand at plugging a microphone in to a loop pedal and piecing it together yourself. @@nartron3000 I think of it more as The Great Test. They are demanding we give up our bodily autonomy and get their jabbyjab of who knows what, every six months, and only then can we keep our jobs and continue to be allowed in to Babylon's entertainment venues. I'm never going to take that ticket and if that means I can't buy and sell or own anything in in Babylon, I will still be happy on my permanent holiday. 🙂

This song gives me goosebumps. I just started crying so hard listening to it, thinking about my sister who just lost her job at a hospital today for refusing to synthetically alter her immune system with an untested pharmaceutical injection. Jah came through and lifted her & her children up into an even better situation though - permanent holiday, truly. Thank you for this powerful song and all your good works.

Yes!! It really does seem to all be a test on some level, and when you draw a line in the sand and say I don't care what material things I have to give up, I'm not going to do what I believe is wrong in order to keep them, you pass the test, level up, and Jah will always reveal even greater opportunities and situations to you in return. Your sister leveled up when deciding to go full time with her children instead of the hospital. Very inspiring!

I discover your music with Jahwakening from Sugarsack Sessions in Spotify, however, when I listened to Permanent Holiday my whole life changed.
