The thing is, to appreciate it first you need the ability to appreciate the meaning of his lyrics, or just very much enjoy his talent. For me it’s the combination of both. For most people it might be difficult to relate to since they live in a completely different sphere of experience

I've been so fortunate to see the progression of Mike Love. I remember see him play for Ooklah the Moc (the best band ever), then dubkonscious w/ aunty Paula Fuga, and now on his own. His live shows have always been incredible on the Big Island.
