Mike later admitted the real problem. In another interview he admitted that he has multiple sclerosis. He also admitted that he never told anyone not even his wife. He was spiraling downward into depression. So sad to suffer all that time in silence! 😭😭😭

His MS started out exactly like mine...with spasms. My MS went undiagnosed for YEARS because doctors were pushing spasms meds on me and it was not working. He was told he has nerve damage from other things.

Ever since Michael left... Boys 2 men weren't able to sell the amount of records they used too...if that isn't telling of what the people really want I don't know what is...he needs to be back in the group

He had a great bass tone but that wasn't the full picture in the band. It's sad what happened to him physically but you have to show up for gigs Spirit most people here have never worked in the industry providing protection. You see all kinds of things with people. No matter how talented they are, you have to show up for gigs, you can't leave anyone hanging. He sounded great on record but there were many incredible sounds, including singing that he could not do. He was an important element but you can't tell the group that you're not going to show up. That happened a few times. Sad to hear that he had passed. He had great talent. Each member of that group were very talented but not all of them could hit some of the notes that the others could. They were all essential to the overall sound of the group.

Mike i been there where u was in 2007 .i also was diagnosed with MS .u Are my MS brother u have alot of MS people i help.any time u wanna talk about MS and get something going i talks to alot of them .even help save life' nobody wants this shit but this was the hand we was dealt.

He's not part of the Group anymore because he left the group after slipping into a Deep Depression due to having MS Multiple Sclerosis. It started while he was still in the Group and cost them shows and a Major Tour in Japan that they had to pay money back for. He was too sick to stay on and wasn't really honest with them about his illness + depression before just leaving. He wasn't even spending time with is own Children & family.They begged him to come back and he wouldn't. Later on, he came out with what was Wrong with him and what he's been going through. He definitely cannot perform with them. It's too bad but that's life.

Tammy Morris, they all started together and only he knows the truth. You really don't know because you are not in his head, in his mind, regardless to who you know in the group or not. I was a fan of all 4, not just 3. They have probably gotten accustomed to splitting the cheese 3 ways and that's one of the determining factors now. Maybe not in the beginning with them, but probably now. If he is there brother, then they should take him back. I'm in the entertainment business and it can and will change you. the truth be told, the only one who is a great singer as far as lead goes is the high lead. The other two are just average. It's the sound that they have together, but his vocals are the beast in the group just as Eddie Levert of the Ojays, Michael Jackson of the Jacksons, so I say give him a chance even if he made a mistake. A the end of the day, life is short and not promised and you can't take a dime with you when you leave here.

It’s about more than money. The interviewer in instigating a situation. If you heard their side it makes perfect sense on the guys (Nate, Shawn, wanya) part. I sympathize with both sides but the guys make a good point if you listen

The Boyz have been going full throttle for years to keep it going. You can't just show up one day long after giving the group the cold shoulder and expect wide open arms and equal pay. It's not like Mike ever equally contributed to the music. Get real, man. People like the interviewer are simply selfish, wanting things to go back to how it was just for their sake and not out of consideration for everyone involved.
