I was fortunate enough to work with the guy recently on there tour in Orlando. Mike's a really awesome laid back guy. The whole crew was awesome to work with actually. And for all you haters he's been clean since 85' and lives a healthy lifestyle now of eating healthy and working out. Mike will kick ur ass!

Mike is so f-ing honest...it all comes through...so unpretentious, and grateful for what he's got and where he is...you can tell he's in awe of Springsteen....his attitude is so rare and refreshing...Social D..best band ever.

He's such a charming punk rocker. One of the best.

It was cool to hear he started to like Bruce b/c of Robert Gordon's version of "fire". Its funny 'cuz Gordon (when he was younger) and Ness look alike. Also the bits about Setzer (Mike used to want "just 4 tattoos"; Setzer playing 50's style on a dark tune for a change) was very cool.

You guys are funny - it's called being raised in a very hard time - poor - couldn't imagine this would happen -- it's called insecurities. I have met many great musicians who are shy - but shine in their music. duh
