Keep your heads up FSU it would not have mattered if this were the 1st game or the last game of the year you would not have beaten GA there is a reason why they went undefeated in the 3 straight regular seasons and 2 straight Natties... They should have been in the Playoffs because they would have beaten Bama in a rematch just like 21.... Next year we wont have this problem its going to a 12 team playoff so I expect for the forseeable future the final 3 or 4 teams will be from the SEC.....

​@CETGale Actually what would've mattered is if we played them in the first game or during the regular season we would've had our full team playing with our Hiesman candidate QB Jordan Travis so you're wrong there, it would have mattered a whole lot more cuz that game would've been MUCH different. We played with mostly 2nd stringers and some 3rd stringers in this game tonight while Georgia played with their full complete and healthy team with the exception of Bowers and Mims. We had 7 starters out on our Defense and 5 starters out on our Offense (every single playmaker including our starting QB) so to your point this would've been a much much different game if we didn't have all the opt outs and only one transfer was a starter so believe me that would've been more like a 3 to 7 point game in the end. Not saying FSU would've won but it would've been a much more close game and who knows we could've won! This game was doomed from the jump which is why bowl games are meaningless cuz so many players don't play in them due to going to the draft or just being injured and also transfer portal guys. Anyways that's why you play the game but in this case we'll never know what could've been if we played them at 100% other than it would've been a much better and closer game plain and simple and everybody knows that even Georgia fans who are half of my friends! 🤷‍♂️

It could've been the Gators and the Noles still wouldn't have cared. This game meant something for Georgia because they were celebrating their Senior class 2 title wins. Understandable. The reality is most draft prospects skip meaningless bowl games. FSU has several drat opt outs. Transfers as well but that wasn't as hurtful. Rodemaker wasn't making a difference.

I think the difference between Georgia and FSU was Georgia lost which cost them their shot, FSU did not. I think that plays a lot into it. Also a lot of Georgia players were seniors closing out a 2 Natty run. Just different situations for each team.

@@encycl07pedia- Which is why it takes 3 years. It took Saban 3 years to win a Natty. 3 top 5 recruiting classes in a row builds the foundation. Then supplement with the portal where needed. That's what the best programs in the country are doing. Seems to work. I think the portal is a short cut and can lead to a good year or two, but if you want to do what Saban and Kirby have done, you do it with high school as the base.

Those transfers stayed an extra year to help build this team. They gave their all during the season and were snubbed. There was nothing else to prove in this meaningless game. The cfp is just a beauty contest.
