I remember that NebeaskaFan77. It was tapped on 11/9/2020 before the show started. Mike Richards made a tribute To Alex Trebek. At the end of the show it was said, “Dedicated to Alex Trebek, Forever in our Hearts, Always our inspiration.” And less than 35 episodes later it was his last show before his death. Which is still very sad and we all still miss him very much.

If they are going to "torture" us with guest hosts, they might as well have Kellie Pickler and Sanjaya Malakar as guest show hosts. Ken Jennings is my #1 choice to host Jeopardy, followed by Brad Rutter and Rachel Maddow.

I have to give Mike credit. He has a smooth talking voice and has nice energy. This guy is doing a great job coming in clutch for the show.

Looking forward to your episodes, Mike. I can only imagine how thrilling it must’ve been for you to become the EP of the show that so motivated you at such a young age & clearly still does. Also, what an incredible honor to not only meet, but work with & become friends with Alex. The fans miss him so much & it has to be much worse for you all. You’ll do him proud, I’m sure!

Alex told to Ken Jennings that Alex wants the contestants to be the main stars, not necessarily the host. Yeah, he could do a good job, but Ken does what Alex wanted.

I'm sold on KJ, but am not interested im the slightest to even consider watching the string of other guesthosts. Might use this time to finally check out Ken's other shows. I'll only watch J! again if/when they make KJ the permanent host

This guys is just 1000% ambition. He lied to get the first hosting chance by saying it was an emergency replacement. It wasnt. He has harrassment allegations against him. Hes not that great. Im not reallt. Levar Burton fan but that this gig should be his. Almost everyone agrees. Richards is going to kill ratings. Producers are rationalizing it as a better Trebek replacement because hes less famous than Burton, with less stigma attached. The idea is that Richards is a clean slate after Trebek. But its a huge misstep by TV exes who think they can second guess fans and rely on a few focus groups. Richards will last about a year before he is #metoo-ed and jeopardy! is tarnished.

Ken did a great job but I'm sure this fellow must be through the moon to have the chance to host Jeopardy and I'm sure he'll do his best. And at the end of the day it's the contestants who are most important.

While I'd certainly love to see Ken Jennings host Jeopardy full time, I also enjoy Mike Richards as a game show presenter. I thought he did a fine job on the Game Show Network revival of The Pyramid a few years back. I'm eager to see him take his turn here.

I just couldn't appreciate Ken Jennings in almost every way. But Mike Richards is very, very good. Almost excellent in almost all ways and he can only get better. I'm happy now. I would keep watching if they make him the permanent host. Happily.

My choice, after having watched him guest host[ng lately, is Ken Jennings. Alex and Ken share a good of common traits, including good, REAL hair! Richards, well, does NOT have what it takes. My vote, then, is for Ken Jennings.
