We had a Mike Rowe Works event at my high school freshman year, and that event is the sole reason I chose to become a mechanic instead of going to to a 4 year college. Having someone tell me that college WASNT necessary instead of having it shoved down my throat was so helpful in finding my way. Now I’m sitting back doing something I genuinely enjoy and getting paid to do so.

I cut open a golf ball held in a bench vise with a hacksaw when I was a kid. Maybe 11~14yo cant remember the year, but it was filled with green hard rubber, that was probably molded into a sphere. The shell is a really tough, yet flexible polymer. And a month or two ago, I had looked into low Reynolds number flow, and the reason for golf ball dimples, and the newest pattern designs to improve turbulence, reduce drag, and improve shot distance.
