I would like to hear a lot more about how Mike's relationship with Chester worked throughout the years, now us knowing that Chester battled deep depression throughout the years. Honestly, not interested in their songwriting/band dynamic, but really more about what it was to deal with somebody like that. Obviously not everybody is comfortable talking too much about this kind of stuff, but would be really educational to listen to what Mike has to say.

I think one of the saddest things about Chester in his passing is the lyrical content of all of his material. It always seems that the most abused and depressed artists produce some of the best material. The most twisted and saddening content, lyrically and emotionally, that we can relate to or understand, is written or performed by equally suffering souls. I just wish we could have helped him.

Mike expressed his feeling, and I'm sure not all of them, in Post Traumatic, he was going through his grieving process while making sure we were OK. All admiration I had for Mike before grew a million times more after.

I grew up almost the same experience as Chester. Wish I could tell him that his music actually helped me survive and process a lot of fucked up shit ❤

To be honest, he seems extremely chill and level-headed talking about Chester, especially for having gone through that kind of trauma. I dunno, what I'm trying to say is that it must take an enormous amount of emotional strength and maturity to come out the other side of a tragedy as well as Mike did. Props to him 🙏

May be chill on the outside, but inside I imagine it's still very draining for him.

Maybe time has helped since it’s been a few years 😢 Maybe releasing Lost was a way for them to finally let go

Creating and releasing the solo album "Post Traumatic" would have helped a lot as well.

I relate to what Mike was talking about only for me it was an issue of class. I lived on the poor side of town and went to a Catholic School for the rich. At school I was made fun of for not having new, name brand clothes on everyday and in the neighborhood I was looked at as the preppy boy that was to good to go to school with them. So I totally felt like I didn’t fit in anywhere I went. So makes sense that I like LP’s music
