I know people probably don't want to listen to this just because I'm white, but my high school was predominantly black and I was constantly bullied and beaten up for just being white. I know exactly how it feels and empathize for anyone treated that way. Until high school, I also swapped schools almost every half year because my family was constantly moving. Crackhead racist stepfather abused me because I was white (He was Native American), and in addition plenty of the minor schools I went to were in ghettos, so I experienced tons of racism everywhere I went, looking back on it. I remember one of my schools had a class that was basically 90% spanish speakers and I was constantly picked on because I didn't understand anyone at all. It's not like I had a choice for any of that stuff. I definitely have some racist tendencies now just from those experiences. I'm surprised I didn't end up as a right-winger racist or something like that, because at times I felt like it was going to come to that. Instead I try and focus on how those experiences broadened my world view and learn from them.

Same. I’m originally from Southern Italy, olive skinned. When I first moved to Northern Italy they were calling me ‘Maroccan’ in a denigratory way. Then moving to the UK has had its challenges as well. It’s true, when we are in that situation we just pretend not to get offended. We smile, we carry on. But it’s not cool. And I am ‘white’ (some would say ‘white other’). Everybody knows that it’s so much worse and it’s especially harsh for black people. Honestly I’ve been hearing these talks since I can remember and I don’t know if America can improve or it is effed up beyond salvation. Europe and the UK are definitely better on that respect, but pockets of racism still exists, like pretty much everywhere

2:14 should add "Look" in the caption. 2:37 to 3:04 dang that's scary Mike. that cop that pulled you out is racist! that cop shouldn't do that to all innocent people like that because of racism experiences. All lives matter. Who knows what it cares that fought out to be? 3:20 also that line is dark but the I think the american cop hate those kids in different races so much. Nice story Mike. The point is that there’s plausible deniability, so you can’t *prove* it, right? He’s just being unreasonably hard on a “culture.” But if you look at the bigger picture, and the pattern, it’s suspicious to the point of being obvious.

@pizzaki5823 жыл бұрын
Punk Kid chooses to be a Punk, Can't choose what colour you are born with.
@fidgetyrock44203 жыл бұрын
@@pizzaki582 No. You dont choose it.. you are talking about posers who want to be cool. Sorry but thats where you are wrong. If you are a punk kid, you are more likely to be either in child protective services and somehow survived it.. Victim child of a suicide mom.. or a drunk dad.. or at best.. you are simply a kid of two middle class parents who tried their best, but now just really wants to forget eachother, and somehow also forgot all about you. At least the cop actually cared eh? .. you are infinetely more likely to be forgotten in some suicide statistic cause your parents kinda forgot you.. Oh wait suicide already is top 3 death reason in the world? Hmmm wonder why. Its hard to talk about, and I bet even chester had some issues there about he did not want to talk about.. still of course racism is unfair, but its really at the top level.. as middle class and below could really ... really not care less.. cause they do not have the power to even care about it. If you were black, why would you look at someone in worse shape than you are for 1 million dollars? The bad reputation punk music gets is not because most of them actually suck or even tries to be annoying.. some of them more likely just pretends that it is a chosen life style so that they actually get power of that life style. So you get people saying blink or some punk band really sucks.. but its not their music that sucks, their life already sucked and started singing about it. Or in blinks case actually pretended to be happy and up beat. Oh wait they sucked because they had too much fun now.. ah.. why would some people get away with havin fun, and some people dont? Its cause their very existence SUCK.. god dammit humanity is so slow. eminem is also a good example, being sued by his bully because he got successfull by outing him.. thats kinda same vibe u get from punk.. if you first have a miserable life.. you will be sure that it will also be miserable when you are successfull.. thats why punk sucks, even when its successfull.. Its just that the "bully" or "miserable life" becomes your critics in the musical world instead.. and yes they will use your life story against you.. Especially if you actually try to make your life better.. I mean I think rap and punk is just different stories of the same thing.. but not quite the EXACT same thing.. and thats why you have some who chooses punk over rap.. not cause of racism but its more relatable.. and I think that the swag thing punk is blessed to be without, but somehow the very reason rap is nr.1 populare, and punk is not. Im not sure what is worth bragging about a miserable family life with a suicidal mom? Or a drunk dad, or dead parents.. there is NOTHING THERE to brag about. The identity of rap and punk is just too different and has become too different.. but somehow maybe originated in the same emotion of pain.. with different circumstances. the poser thing is solely because of some very few miserable punks actually reach the top, and because of the extremeley unlikely life story they are very original, and thus it becomes cool to pose as punk.. but I dont agree that it is a choice.. it would take alot of effort to convince me about that. But I will agree that it may be a choice to identify as a punkrocker as an escape or even survival tactic. Not because you feel that it kinda feels good at a party. In that case the other option would be something worse than posing as a punk. Something worse than already being at the bottom.. Sorry, I am still a huge mike shinoda fan though.
