I trained with Mike when heI was 15 or so and I was 20 or so he would take the men’s class and get himself thrown by every player he became so strong that he reached Olympic status. That was at Cranford Judo and Karate Center in Cranford New Jersey in the 70s. A decent man. I became an engineer he became a champion and business man. Never saw a Judoka work so hard him and John Clark who enlisted in Marine Corps

Asad Beldo in person, he almost looks like he is floating and gliding. He moves like his feet aren’t even touching the ground. I got to spend a day with him and was mesmerized the whole time. His pulling, wrist snapping, and grip strength are ridiculous too.

Hah....you looked like you were doing more of a hane goshi around 2:45 instead of uki goshi when you added movement.

Who the hell picked the music for this. It should be re-dubbed and re-released for dignity's sake.

Your asking a question many Judoka experience. The answer is - use the technique that works best. Foot sweep combo's, sacrifice throws etc get them to the ground where we are the same size.
