i LOVE mike and LOVE mike-tina couple but i don't think he was healthy for her mike is always nugging on her cuz "she's not Asian enough" and the time he stood with rachel when tina wanted a solo and broke up with her when he went to university and refused her proposal, not because its tooo soon or ect he said we can't be together and go find a boyfriend in your university. + when he wanted to go too dance univ and put his anger at her and broke up with her but still i love him sooo much and i was sad and mad at the writers cuz they weren't endgame

yeah, the way they wrote their asian characters was just,, uhhh, not great. a lot of of the minorities tbh! harry shum jr + jenna ushkowitz actually talked about this on her podcast about the show once!

@itsa I need to check that podcast out! And the writers clearly had racist tendancies - as much as I love Brittany, what makes them think the whole "Unique is Mercedes" thing is okay? And I bet if Mercedes had been with Shane longer they would have thrown in a few black "jokes" like they did with Tike and the Asian references. Oh, and Tina only getting a solo in a competition when the song was originally sung by an Asian as well. And presumably making Blaine fully white despite Darren Criss being half-Filipino.
