I watched a doc on the steelers when I was 10 or 11, around the time Stewart took over as QB. I became fan of the org because of the Rooneys. ONLY pro sports team thats run like a family business and I do believe they care fo their players and don't treat them as much of a commodity as other teams/leagues

I have one better my cousin like 2nd cousins bhsband worked for the steelers we would talk for hrs about what trades was made and what was being done we discussed pittburg getting kenny pickett before he wqs drafted We also discussed my hoi minka and Najaee Haris when he was drafted. We have a total of three players all either went to alabama or from there Minka , Najaiee and last but not least aparently Hoover High School own George Pickens this year is going to be epic. I have a daughter that is 12 so I am rite in the middle. She has been through a lot in life, she lost her best friend mammie "my mom" two years ago. She watched her battle cancer so she learned at a young age how precious life is but also how unfare it can be. She is so much stronger than I am. She has a heart of gold but she can test my patience like no other. Treasure every moment with your kids especially when they are little, it will shock you how much they remember. Let them know u are there for them and love them and it will work out champ.

I grew up knowing I was going to get a beating everyday, not a whipping but a beating with ext cords, belts, switches, water hose, fist.. it was rough from age 5-12 my old man hated my ass for some reason.. i am 39 and he hates me more than ever. He just couldn't stand the thought that mom loved me so I grew up thinking each day could be my last, he picked me up one night when I was 7 while I was asleep and threw me down the steps to the basement and busted my head on the concrete wall and knocked me out.. when my mom got home from 3rd shift he said I was sleep walking and fell down the steps. All I'm saying is it is I know we may get on our kids nerves by checking on them and worrying but man they will appreciate that someday. They know that they are loved.
