He said he knew he won before the fight even started by breaking his opponents will and confidence. He has also said himself that even though he appeared to always be stone cold he was actually scared before each fight. His fear backstage started to fade as he approached the ring. The closer he got to the ring the more he built himself up and by the time he stepped foot in the ring he felt unstoppable.
