Weight class must have come into play. A golden glove champion is no small thing. Golden gloves are just young future Champs. I struggle with this, I did 14 years and k ew monsters in the NYS boxing program, but 67 fighting a golden glove champion in his youth, idk, I think he might have fought in the golden gloves or he was light in the ass. Look at both of their training footage. Mike's head is off the center line 90% of the time, good rotation with each shot and always moving. Paul stands directly on the center line, zero head movement and throws all his shots right down the pipe. I'm predicting Tyson crushes him. Paul doesn't have his ABC's down yet, his knockout reel is against stationary opponents.

My concern is straight punches are faster then hooks typically. If Paul can utilize his reach and Tyson has slowed down getting offline it could be bad for Tyson money is still on Tyson but I wanna see him hard sparring working on that animal mindset

When I watch the recent training films I see a Jake Paul windmilling the heavy bag, little power, some speed but lots of noise. I watch Tyson slugging the bag like a diesel piston, swinging from his shoulders like a lever. You can almost feel the power being transmitted to the heavy bag listening to it. I believe if Tyson lands a punch, Jake will get hurt. I don’t think Jake can land a punch on Tyson.

I don't know. Jake has bought his way into the ring, rather that worked his way into it. I would rather see him box regular competitors from the ground up, rather than just offering money to old champs to get in the ring. I would not think higher of Jake if he knocked out Mike at this age. Mike at 27 wouldn't even give a chance to Jake.

If Mike has 40 - 50% of his power a long night and he may have problems . IF Mike has 70% of his power - a shorter night and Jake Paul will be TKO'd by 3 to 4 rounds . I don't think it will be a full KO sleep - either way . 18 ounce gloves favor a decision by Jake Paul IMO . It depends on Tyson's CONDITIONING and 3.5 months is not that long for 58 years old. All you guys over 55 - throw fast punches IN THE AIR for 60 seconds straight - you will be SORE for 4 to 6 days . TRY IT ! Whether you work out or not . FAST SNAP PUNCHES - trust me . TRY IT AND REPORT BACK ! LOL.

It is not about the age difference. It is not about the conditioning. It is not about the power difference. It is about the movement. Tyson is elusive. He's hard to hit because his head is always in a different place. Not Jake Paul. His torso, his head are stationary. He pretty much stands straight up in front of his opponent. It think it will be a stoppage in the first round. The skills mismatch is something Paul has never seen.

OK - throw fast combinations in the air for 60 seconds straight and you will be sore for 3 to 5 days ... It takes a LONG TIME to get fast twitch and you are SORE regardless . Until you do it about 20 times and that takes 60 days if you are out of shape and THAT is not even close to real sparring or Boxing it is step AAA 1 baby start .

Age is the crucial factor if this goes beyond 2 or 3 rounds ... a trained 27 year young man vs an 58 years trained but from his life worn out man ... again age is decisive ...

It's simple.... if Mike doesn't have a flare up with his back before the fight and is able to train and fight, then it's a real fight. Mike can really give Jake a problem. Having said that, Mike will be 58 and and 1 punch could be a real problem as well. Go Mike!
