Four Things to Worry About When Fighting "Iron Mike" Tyson: 1. His right upper-cut: It can kill you, even though Mike is left-handed. 2. His left hook: knocks most people down or out. 3. His right cross: can put you down. 4. His liver punch: can disable and seriously injure you. Now if you can avoid those four punches, you should do well against him. :-)

That lead hand short hook to the body is brilliant if you have the head and body speed to pull it off. That contact involuntarily makes an opponent's lead hand elbow tuck in from the pain and impact. You then have half a second to exploit the gap that creates using either an uppercut or another short hook to the head. Most people are not expecting their lead ribs to get crushed...your elbow will tuck; you pretty much can't stop it. Brilliant move...if not already down they are focused on their lead side, and he circles with a wide hook to the other side.
@c.galindo96392 жыл бұрын
I love how Tyson moves in the ring. Also the execution and technique is superb. When he started he had the right mindset and the physical ability of a tank. Also how short he is compared to his opponents really made him standout as a heavyweight
@nickelass4273 жыл бұрын
There will never be another heavyweight as agile and powerful as Tyson. He was ahead of his time. Just throwing hooks and uppercuts relentlessly. For every punch thrown another punch followed. He was always ready to throw an onslaught of blows.. The guy didn't let up until his opponent dropped to the canvas.. Too bad D'Amato couldn't stick around a little longer. Firing Rooney didn't help.. Despite Tyson's hardships, he is still one of the best, if not the best when he was fighting in his prime.. I still think Douglas should've been counted out in their match up in Japan, but every dog has its day.. Still a legend, hands down..

Man Tyson was something else.... we don't see very often a boxer with pure strenght and speed, it's like George Forman and Muhammad Ali ( i know Ali used to move and counter but i'm saying about the speed of Tyson's punches )

Man when this dude hits you in that rib it’s followed by a viscous uppercut, game over!!!!

Im only 26 at the moment, never got to see mike fight live, that right hook to the body followed with the uppercut to the head is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Cracked fingers if he lands a blow to the skull, that’s what. A boxer’s strength against the skull’s rigidity combined is simply too much for the human hand to withstand.

@@retardcorpsman yeah and that’s why mike Tyson would probably lose to a trainer fighter cuz trained fighters know how to use their legs and elbows

Mick was huge, but how brave were those guys who faced him, took his uppercuts, and keep fighting... !

Back in the day, Nintendo knew exACTly what they were doing when they made "Iron" Mike Tyson the final boss in Punch Out.
