It might just be as simple as, Mike is 57 fighting a 27 year old. Thats probably the bottom line of why it isnt sanctioned. And I do agree, once the word "exhibition" gets thrown in there, its really hard to sell it as a legit fight.

For me, exhibition means the fighters are not trying to knock each other out. Throwing punches at 50%. A lot like sparring. It really does change everything. Knockouts being my favorite aspect of fighting. I have zero interest now in the tyson fight. If they were going to actually fight, I would've already tried to buy it.

Do you think it has anything to do with their promoter's license? If both parties operate under two separate licenses but one isn't up to date but deserves credit and pay etc for contractual reasons maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure if that's the case where it's being held, but where I live you have to have the right valid and up-to-date license to be sanctioned. Could there also be another possibility that a license may not be the right valid license, or up-to-date and can't be corrected until days after the scheduled fight?

If I'm mad enough. I should be legally allowed to challenge a man to an officially sanctioned fight. They are allowed to decline. However it goes on record. If a fight is accepted the outcome goes on record. It's a perfect way to really settle a score.

Mike hasn't showed a single clip of him training with a sweaty shirt from working hard. That's when I knew this was a sham. Yes his padwork looks great, but how long can he keep that pace? I see him gassing out within 2 rounds. TRT can only perform so much magic before age takes over. Mike closes the distance and Jake clinches with him over and over and over. Thats how the fight will go.

This fight is very interesting. We are witnessing the matching up of two men on opposite ends of the bell curve. These two men have exactly opposite strengths and weaknesses. It's sad to see so many ageist comments. Ageism is as WRONG as racism. Both of these men are highly intelligent in their own ways. Both of these men have the capability of killing the other, and that is not something that anyone should want to see. Personally, I am very happy that this is an exhibition encounter, and I hope it is a good, entertaining match for all of us spectators, and a good payday for the fighters, promoters, producers and everyone involved. From my point of view there should be nothing but love and respect for BOTH Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
