I saw everything I needed to see in this video! Merino is absolute class defensively and offensively! I’ll take him over Kimmich, Javi Guero, Guido and probably even Zubamendi! Flick wants to play with two pivots - one of those pivots must be good at winning the ball back (Merino) and the other one must facilitate play and tempo (Gundogan, De Jong, even Gavi)

This is a brilliant move. A total Barça type player who can bring more to the table than Christensen. He looks technically brillant , might have some issues off the ball or athletically lacking otherwise wouldn't go under the radar.

Es un gran jugador, pero no para el Barcelona, en mi opinión. Si lo véis, no hace pareces en la zona de pivote. No hace correr el balón, cuando le presionan dos jugadores con suerte saca la pelota, poniendo en peligro a su equipo. Busquets jugaba al rondo con Casemiro, Modrid y Kross, les faltaba el respeto en la cara, y lo hacía andando y en un par de metros. Mikel es bueno si le dan espacio para pensar el pase. Si lo ficha el Barcelona, le pasará como a Romeu, se verá muy expuesto cada partido.

Hmmm different style. I personally feel like Merino could fit better than Kimmich on Barcelona cause he plays on national team has experience in la liga, so he can adapt better and is a very similar style of play. One year younger He is better in goals and defense. He might be not as good as a playmaker than kimmich though but he is not bad at all on that. So i choose merino
