Gamma Ray is easily one band that has had a huge massive impact in my life. I was a teenager back in the mid 90's. Since I was not a fan of alternative/ grunge bands that were very popular , I was looking for Heavy Metal bands that were obscure here in America but popular in other countries. Gamma Ray is one band that I found, and bought their Alive 95 live album first and loved it big time. I eventually bought all their albums , and loved them all, especially Insanity And Genius, and my all time favorite Land Of The Free. Ever since then Gamma Ray has been one of my all time favorite bands ever. Kai Hansen is easily one of the greatest songwriters to me along with others like Steve Harris and Jon Schaffer. Everything that Kai Hansen has ever been involved with is phenomenal to me. Bands like Helloween, Gamma Ray, Unisonic, and Iron Savior have amazing songs and albums because of Kai Hansen. Kai has also had many great musicians with him on everything that he has done. As much as I love Gamma Ray, I am happy that Kai Hansen is back in Helloween, and that he made a new album with them which he has not done since 1988. I do hope that sometime in the future that Kai does another album with Gamma Ray because I love them as much as I do Helloween. This song is and has always been my favorite Gamma Ray song. It still gives me chills and goosebumps just like it did the first time I listened to it 25 years ago. Sorry for the long reply, but Gamma Ray is one band that is extremely special to me.

almost there. Running wild + grave digger is as good as gamma ray. Truth is that german bands are the best + german beers. Some german pizza too.

This is the best live performance of all songs I know. Gamma Ray are the band that can make you rise up. Great, amazing, inspiring.

Watching this reminded me of the feeling when I saw them play it live, and how it felt when the last verse kicked in (Now I'm riding through the air...) I felt like my heart was going to explode from the joy and energy. Thanks, guys.

Best Gamma Ray song ever! Goosebumps whenever I hear it. I had the privilege of seeing the band when they were in Barcelona back in 1997 on the Somewhere Out In Space tour

Death Go Down for Dreamt Sometime Je ne peux répondre car il s'agit de subjectivité. A ce niveau là, on pourrait répondre que des formations comme Deep Purple, Led Zep', Black Sabbath ont créé le genre. On pourrait répondre que des légendes comme Guns'n'Roses, Metallica ou Scorpions ont permis de démocratiser la musique. On pourrait dire que des Génies comme Jimi Hendrix ou Frank Zappa lui ont donné ses lettres de noblesse. Et à titre perso, je suis rentré dans le Metal en commençant par Bon Jovi, AC DC et Yes (90125 et Big Generator) pour ensuite basculer du côté Helloween (avec Kai Hansen) et Manowar... Donc, je reste sur ma position :P

From U.S. Rabbit Don't Come Easy was my reintroduction to Helloween after 10 years away from hearing them. Then got Treasure Chest. I fell in love with Kings will be Kings, Time of the Oath, Midnight sun. Andi Daris isn't the old singer. I think he did a lot to resurect Helloween frome where they were in the early 90's. PS: I'm a drummer so All Helloween is my love!!
