Yes oh yes. Cwmcarn at last. It's been far too long. In this edit I'll be riding the Cafall trail only, and showing you all the best bits of this Welsh Gem. Cafall is the easier of the 2 main trails at Cwmcarn. Don't get me wrong, so some it could be insane. That said you can certainly work your way through it easily enough.
Parking at Cwncarn places you right at the trail head for both the Cafall and Twrch trails. Like most trails in Wales, it's hard work to get to the top of that well earned descent. in our group, 3 of us on regular MTBs and 2 on e-bikes breezing it. LOL.
We couldn't have picked a better weekend for it. The weather was literally perfect and that makes all the difference when riding here. More enjoyable lets say.
The descents at Cwmcarn as so worth the effort. The views are outstanding, and the sense of achievement when you make it to the top is first class. You'll see.
Trying to take in those views at your top riding speed down Cafall is a different story. That you'll also understand when you ride there. Any viewers, enjoy.
