A scene that manages to be hilarious without any dialogue.

It'd be funnier if Stan Lee was one of the staff and casually picked Thor's hammer to clean the table or something.

When Tony proposed to go eat shawarmas later I though to myself “damn it'd be so funny if in the end they were all just eating shawarmas and nobody says a single word” AND WHEN THE EXACT THING ACTUALLY HAPPENED I WAS CRYING

This scene was so funny, since it is so relateable; Having just finished an exhaustive day at work, and going directly to the closes fast food place to refuel. Everyone is to tired to do anything besides eat the food, and then go home afterwards.

Thor's last bite was legendary (Update) 4 years later and I have this many likes? That's a first.

Cap looking like he was already 100% done with today and 50% through tomorrow's patience.

I love how Thor, after his first bite, looks like he's pondering on what to make of this new food and like, after a while, decides it's good and takes a huge-ass bite out of it.

Guys Mjolnir isn’t anywhere to be seen. So that means Loki is somewhere with Mjolnir on his chest 😂

This is my favorite moment in all the MCU. They just saved the world, what do they do? Eat. I love how they look blitzed, exhausted and have no words. I also love New York as a character in movies. Leave it to a small resturaunt owner to serve their customers and sweep up some broken glass while they eat. What are you going to do? Close? Not until they make us. Classic.

This scene should've been revisited in Endgame when they travelled back in time

_Tony's persistently scanning everyone's face, Cap looks like he's ready to pass out, Thor's enjoying the food, Black Widow and Hawkeye look like they regret tagging along because they had other plans and Mark Ruffalo looks like he's trying not to laugh._

Banner: So who's paying? _Everybody starts to stare at Tony_ Tony: Fine!

Let's do a head count: A Demigod, a Super Soldier Legend, a man with BREATHTAKING anger management issues, two master assassins, and a genius, billionaire playboy, quietly eating in a Shawarma restaurant, after an alien invasion nearly destroyed New York City. Somehow that makes perfect sense.

This is, in a nutshell, one of the best scene in the entire MCU since it depicts the "human beings" behind the heroes. That's the glory of Marvel stories: the fact that, at the end, all heroes are just regular people with their regular problems. SO LOVING IT!

If you have ever eaten Shawarma, then you know how satisfying this is for them.

at the end of avengers two, the post credit scene should be stan lee pretending to be likd a janitor wiping tables, and picks up thors hammer to wipe below it and puts it back down

I just love how there's glass all over the floor, and the Avengers are just sitting around the table, each one with a thousand yard stare, giving _no_ indication that they're enjoying the food or the moment.

Apparently the Shawarma Scene was taken during the premier of the film. It was Robert's idea, and everyone liked it, but the film finished production when they came up with it.

I love the fact they’re not saying anything. It’s such a human moment

their individual postures say so much about who they are as characters! amazing, haha. look at bruce's slouch vs tony's leaning back, or thor's posture that rivals a king's. i especially love old man steve falling asleep, lol!

When you think about it, it's a perfectly reasonable scene. After doing all that crazy shit in the film, you'd get hungry.

Why Captain America is covering his face the entire time, as Jeremy Renner tells Variety: "We shot it at the premiere, when we were all together. A year had gone by, and Chris [Evans] was in the middle of doing another movie, where he had a full beard and he couldn’t shave it off... They had to do all these prosthetics over his face. The poor guy, he was in a chair for like four hours just for this three-second scene. He looked awful. He looked like his face was melting. Imagine if you have to put prosthetics over a thick beard, he looked like he got stung by a bee. The names that [Robert] Downey Jr. and everybody came up with. He couldn’t even laugh. It was really quite frustrating, I’m sure."

I don't understand why after so many Marvel movies...people still leave before the credits are done. And then they're shocked to keep hearing there are post-credit scenes. It cracks me up. I went to see Thor: The Dark World and people started to leave when the credits began rolling. I said, "Where are you going? There are two more scenes!" "Really?" they said. Hahahahaha. Unbelievable.

Of all MCU post credit scenes, this was the absolute best and always will be.

I've always saw this to be the funniest point of the movie.

one reason this movie was so epic... was the cast how they all really liked each other and they worked so well together

Shawarma is bloody delicious! After this film people in my cinema were like,"let's get some shawarma!" Even though no one had any idea what it was lol. The power of the avengers I tell ya.

I like how they are again simply humans after the fight and cap is like a child who wants no food but instead play a little longer

What's funnier for me is the fact that they're eating in a destroyed store. And wearing the same gear from the fight. Meaning after they were done they went straight to get food.
