You're right; cooking is a special skill (that needs to be practiced) and shows love to those you cook for. I don't want to stir the pot, but it's amazing how much is getting done in such a compressed time frame compared to "before." WOW! The progress on the pool is incredible, and it really looks awesome! For the planters by the pool- I think low lying plants would be great. I think ones that overhang or trail out would soften the edges and add a lot of beautiful texture... Like how the plants are starting to trail down the sides of the wall by the walkway down to the staff house.
