Trying out a $1 conveyor belt sushi place in Singapore and every sushi dish is $1 USD! Then had a massive seafood noodle plate and for dessert checked out a cake vending machine served in a can. For dinner, we went to get some katsu curry.

With how much this guy travels and the variety of what he eats, I can't ever imagine him needing vitamin supplements.
@ProtoMarcus
@ProtoMarcus Жыл бұрын
Yeah... And vitamin supplements are a waste of money 99% of the time - unless you have insufficiencies or deficiencies and understand when and how to consume supplements, you'll just lose all those $$ supplements through your urine In Mike's case, he's definitely losing most supplements through urine, especially as he's consuming those supplements with water and not food - A, D, E & K vitamins are fat-soluble, and on an empty stomach, the supplements will pretty much go through without being absorbed/metabolized. On the other end of the spectrum, some nutrients are only required in small amounts to work properly - excess intake of any nutrients can lead to harmful effects. But again, seeing how Mike consumes them, he's probably losing most of them in his urine. Supplements will never be a substitute for healthy eating habits. _That said, the only ''supplement'' that can really make a difference when consumed adequately is Vitamin D - most of the ENTIRE WORLD has insufficiency or deficiency - just make sure to eat before/while taking vitamin D, which is technically a Hormone, not a Vitamin! It is produced in the skin from cholesterol precursor called 7-dehydrocholesterol upon exposure to sunlight and Vitamin (or Hormone) D is critical in various bodily processes from bone health to immune health to wakefulness to overall wellbeing_

Hi Mikey, glad and surprised to see your video about Sushi express in Singapore! That's one of my favorite when I lived in Singapore years ago and can't miss every time when I am back. I have been watching off the Great Wall since 10 years ago and sometimes shows to my students even today. Are you based in SG now? Do come a visit to Johor if possible, I can introduce to you some unique local food.
