Gen 0 is such a unique group concept in Holo. They've individually started in very different time periods under different projects, thus most of their starting career was done without a genmate to relate with. They are self-made elites and putting them together is like having an all-star cast.

You know, something Cover is good at is constructing high-functioning teams. It's one thing to be able to hire talented individuals, but they are also good at arranging talents that can really work together

Which would explain why it takes longer and longer time for new gens to come out now. the selection process has been complete refined and when completed, the team molding process takes just as long. Advent and ReGloss seemed to have met offline a lot before debut though they do have the advantage of being so close to each other/within the realm of reachable distances.

@@yuku6921 everyone knows it's better for long term growth, but the investment is significant and the results are not always guaranteed. Companies that are concerned over quick profits would prioritize flooding the market with 'quantity over quality'. Whenever anything starts generating less profits, they just pump out more products to keep the profits up. This is quite a common strategy amongst publicly traded companies (even giant conglomerates) that have to appeal to shareholders. It's why there were huge concerns back when people thought Cover was going to become publicly-traded (thankfully they aren't)

And I love how, in this case, it wasn't constructed from the get-go. Gen 0 is a confusing mess once you get down to the different projects each girl came from, and yet they all look and feel like very good friends who care for each other. That's pretty cool.

Can you believe almost all the members of Gen0 were rejects once upon a time... Now look at them, shining so brightly and gracefully. Every Gen0 member is a powerhouse of talents, from suisei, azki and sora's singing, to roboco's dance moves to Mikochi's unparalleled streaming creativity, Gen0 is like no other gen in the vtubing community. As a 35P, i feel like a proud elder brother seeing how Mikochi is doing so so well, she is probably one of the most watched vtubers in hololive. P.S- Is it just me or most 35ps have this fatherly/brotherly love towards mikochi and we just cannot tolerate any lewd artwork etc of hers?

@@RhazOfRheos Yeah, I think that's the point, many people just use the word they see on the screen and it happens to be "Excel" for many enough (though I feel like stuff like Google Sheets and whatnot might be displacing Excel pretty hard)

@@MrCh0o I actually feel more like they have a different spreadsheet culture there than the west. They use other app more than excel for studying and other things. Since Microsoft office is entirely proprietary.

1:41 Yup, who needs a word processor when you can have text editor/Notepad!😁 I actually use text editor a lot because it can be opened quickly and I can start typing stuff right away without worrying about auto-correction, format, or whatever distracts me from pure texts! LOL

They use the term spreadsheet probably because they learn it later outside/after finishing school through formal course. Japan sometimes use formal term in these context (another term for spreadsheet that is being used is "keisan sofuto" which means calculating software).

True? Tho, for the most part, I feel like regular Notepad works just fine. Notepad++ is more for coding and whatnot, or at least, that's how I used it (I don't really use it nowadays tho, but maybe if I get into coding again).
