@@mentaljedi not to be mean or disrespect other members . compared to the rest, the founder members literally start from the scratch , no fanbase , no instant 100k+ sub , no instant 10k+ viewers debut , even my first impression toward vtubers kinda skeptical that time. its really rocky road . i dont want to sugarcoat it, most the recent members joining because hololive already really famous and its dream job now compare to the past.

From almost quitting due to low popularity to 2 million subscribers. It was a rocky road at times, especially with her long health hiatus, but she made it through and made it here. Our elite shrine maiden idol, Sakura Miko.

Exactly. Her story and career is inspiring and, even though wholesome, we know how hard it was for Miko at the beginnings. I am forever grateful that she did NOT quit, Hololive wouldn't be as ELITE as it's now without Miko! I love these kind and truthful Miko moments, I remember how she cried from letters (like 'Miko feels touched when she reads a letter from Yagoo'), and, this is impossible not to cry, when singing SSS with Sora before Hololive FIRST Fes. in 2020: 'Shiny Smily Story by Sakura Miko and Tokino Sora but Miko cry'.

@@sumbuka7381 It was broadcast from August 2nd 2022 starting at 1:31:52 mark. It was after her 4th anniversary, where YAGOO sent her letter congratulating her, and talked about the early time when they are struggling. She elaborated what she went through in detail; YAGOO actually cried for her along with staffs during that fan meeting, made her to try even harder. She's very thankful to YAGOO who easily could fire her but didn't, gave the support she needs to succeed. This clip alone made me love Hololive all over again, it can't be more wholesome than this. I watched it from Korean clipper, but I'm sure someone clipped this in English channel.

it was in the middle of the pandemic, 2020, that I found Mikochi, there were tough times, I'm a nurse working at the ICU at that time and she, made me smile so much and gave me hope. She may not know any of this but for me, she is a jewel of happiness and every laugh and tear means a lot. 2M milestone is just a number but for all of us, 35P, is a blessing. We love you Mikochi, thanks a lot for everything!

Miko has always have special place in me not only because I’ve been there since her debut but also that I was intentionally attending every single of her uploads and stream back them just to add that 1 single extra view count out of pitying her. Days when she didn’t even have 100 views, when only one single chat popping out every 5-10 minutes, when I was feeling bad for her and worried she would feel down. Now I don’t even need to always get into her stream all times since I know there are over 30k viewers be there for her. It’s all thanks to you guys too, thank you for helping her climbing to her success. Thank you for joining the 35P. You might’ve been not there as long as I had, but you guys are the chads who made this happen. I hope you guys will keep supporting her, till the very end.

I don't want to demerit other holos but I think Mikochi is without a doubt the most impactful vtuber in hololive. Without her the west probably wouldn't have had the exposure to vtubers that it did.

I'm so happy for Miko. She's the biggest reason why I became a fan of Hololive and VTubers in general. I started down the rabbit hole trying to figure out all the hype about this "Anime KZfaqr" named Gura hitting 1 mil subs. However, what really got me hooked was the Miko GTA streams. It was just so funny watching the juxtaposition and culture clash between a Japanese streamer and [satire] on modern American culture. I'm glad she persevered. I wish her continued success.

Made me feel emotional seeing this. When you know how bad her career was at the beginning and seeing that.
