Or in actual physics, the "law of conservation", but a certain anime calling it the "law of equivalent exchange" does make it easier to understand (and arguably more accurate too; you can have less matter in the universe if the missing matter was converted into energy and vice versa). XD Tho, tbf, you probably wouldn't have to do magic. The simplest solution is for them to have a humidifier that hooks up to a rain catcher. And additionally (but less simply), they could also create a machine that detects humidity and releases water vapor if its too much, absorbs if too little. Then for the extra water needed (since a house isn't a closed system so the water vapor sadly goes down over time due to various reasons), but that one's more for making the room feel relatively the same the whole year along with conserving water.

@@hh-nh6ju It could as extra, but I feel like it'd be better to collect rainwater. Relying on just the air moisture outside might not work for a lot of places (plus it'd create the same problem as air-conditioners in Hong Kong; there, it's cold inside and super hot outside; with this, the outside air could become very dry in some occasions).
