i think you still can sell that, as long you dont steal official's or other person's design/art. if you cant sell your own art/creation base from the orginal media, how you explain doujin/artist artworks?

I think this is just barely on the legal side and most companies dont care as long as it is sold in small and limited runs (doujins , figures , dakimakuras , etc....) , then again there is this dude that got bonked really hard for basically selling anime girls heads glue to spicy bodies , kinda like Nezuko head glue to Super Sonico body , he was sort of good at it and they looked ok so he had a lot of commisions That being said , cover is kinda chill on this stuff and most fanmade stuff , as long as you arent making a lot of money (undercutting them) or hurting their brand , they let it slide , one example is Mizuryu Kei (famous H artist), that was sort of the unnofficial artist of Hololive Alternative manga , but had some doujinshis published about Hololive that kinda were not ok with Cover and they ask him to remove them from his site so it didnt look like they endorse them , Mizuryu Kei refuse on artistic integrity basis and they both cut ties , they never enforced their right to bonk him but as a gesture of good will and professionalism , Mizuryu Kei discontinued and cancelled future Hololive related doujins after fullfilling the current orders he already had

@@davidwitra7023 iirc, Other companies will allow it as long as it's not something from official stuff or copies of released goods. There are also some that will put restriction on number of items you can sell . Every company has their own standards about this that they usually post somewhere (I'm not sure about Cover but we know disney and nintendo hates these lol)
