Oh, the buzzer is back, nice :) I remember when I was working for a WISP (that's where I met MIkrotik's products and I'm extremely thankful for that), we had a script on every RB which played the song from Super Mario Bros World 1-1. When a field technician colleague asked me to show him, which link needed tweaking, I just ran this script. The new hires often bursted out with laughter when hearing it for the first time :D

I am happy to see my "Bring back Buzzer" campaign worked ! 😂 Now we just need it to come back on all Mikrotik products.

I would love to see some GPIO. I realize it can be a money and time sink with protection, isolation etc, but just 1k ohm impedance on a few bidirectional pins could make wonders for interfacing with SPI, I2C, UART and external buttons and relays. But I am thankful for your offerings, but as a customer I always want more :)

I was a bit sad after switching from a 1009 to a 2004, realizing it doesn't have a buzzer. Always played some nice tune when the pppoe session was up. Bring it back please, it cost's maybe 10ct. :)

Something left out of the sales pitch: RouterOS supports running containers, so you can end up with a custom solution on top of a solid foundation, if your needs require it. The only thing I would love to see would be an internal USB header and a central hole for mounting customer-supplied extra stuff to.

I miss the buzzer in new mikrotik devices... I still have an old 951Ui to just make sounds when requested by other devices

Hello Mikrotik, please, make the same routerboard, but with m.2 slot for LTE modems and USB3. As i see, there is place on PCB for m.2 slot!

Nice board. Wish it had native 2.5 gig POE in port instead of 1 gig. Although 2.5 gig SFP is a nice change.

stop putting only two core for arm based cpu, it's just to slow even with my routerboard AX2 which one have 4 cores, with a 1Gbps network, if you make a wireguard tunnel, you only get 200Mbps of bandwidth At least make some routerboard with intel n95/n100/n200 cpu

On the block-diagramm a PCIe 2.0 connection is seen to the M.2 slot. Does it mean there is a possibility to add a third WiFi radio (for example WiFi 6E or 7 in 6GHz)?

Please make a video about the Ethernet test result, like example how are you testing it, and the real world application of it, etc.. we also would love to see what is the Xena Networks that you use to test almost every Mikrotik hardware? is it a hardware, software, or maybe both?

No buzzer on the RB5009? I am disappoint. The buzzer is great for any (faster than your NIC) notifications, especially network drop / GW moving to secondary WAN / SMS received, use your imagination. If the successor to the RB5009 UPr does not have a buzzer, I will be pissed. @MikroTik Just leave a speaker header and space in products so customers can install their own if the price point of adding one makes them prohibitive, they're insanely useful!

DIY router should have wider input voltage range. Imagine putting this into somewhere that uses acid battery voltages of 12V. Like RV. Or offgrid-garage with 48V battery. And you tell these people - fkoff, we limit you to 18-28V. Cmon.

$250 to run routeros unlocked if I want it on my own product. But if I wan to to be constrained by your hardware I get it for free. No weird licensing indeed.
