Man, this takes me back to when i first started modding fallout 3 in high school. There was this mod called vocaloid radio with a bunch of vocaloid songs from 2010 and earlier. Always made me feel things, the happy synthetic voices against the bleak and empty capitol wasteland. Just got a flash of those feelings from this track

I feel like these lyrics would make a lot of sense from Miku's perspective. A song about both the melancholia and euphoria of transhumanism.

I'm sorry, I need to do a mini-rant on why I love this so much. So Depeche Mode and Hatsune Miku were both things I was exposed to in my early teenage years. The Mike Shinoda remix of Enjoy the Silence (then subsequent listening to the original) thanks to an AMV, then Melt by Hatsune Miku thanks to an old X360 friend. Both of those songs always take me back to a fond place and I have this weird sentimental attachment to Miku despite only ever hearing Melt. This cover basically fused those two feelings together and it's fucking surreal, but I genuinely love the result. Thank you so much for this.
