Thank you immensely. Not only do we get to learn new kanji, but we also learn so many wonderful phrases and sentences to speak in Japanese. Thank you for providing subtitles in both Japanese and English. We memorize them.

I took the pandemic very seriously, was one of the first to wear masks, got all three vaccines etc. But times have changed, the Omicron variant is a different disease than the original wild type. Here in Switzerland there are no regulations anymore and nothing happened to the hospitals. Life is like it was before the pandemic. Japan still banning all tourism and all people walking around with masks outside, starts to feel a little bit alienating. 懐かしい！On my last trip to Japan I took the enoden! I took the wrong train when leaving Hase and had to get off at Gokuraku. It’s such a nice tiny station with a small creek running next to it. It was so relaxing I didn’t mind waiting for my train back to Kamakura.

After many failed attempts at going on my semester abroad in Japan I was kind of burned out on learning the language, and seeing images and videos from Japan made me sad so I avoided them. But now I'm taking a Japanese class again and I think I have even more fun studying than before :) This video is so nice and relaxing, and I was so happy when I recognized some kanji and grammar. 4:35 This flag thing isn't unique to Japan. I've seen it mentioned in the video called Crossing the Street Shouldn't Be Deadly (but it is) at 24:50 and they really pan it.

I'm using her course but I wanted to contribute a little payment for these super useful videos as well.. as I see other people do on other channels. But I can't get this KZfaq option to work, it never finishes. Neither on the PC nor on the tablet. And I see in the description that Google takes 30% anyway.. is there a paypal or other contribute-option we could use (those of us who can and will)?
