MILA started out as the alias for the Dutch singer-songwriter Michelle Virginie Alblas. Surrounding herself with Younes Kadri on electric guitar, Guido Nederstigt on bass Aniek de Rooij on live electronics and Willem Schonenberg on drums, MILA formed a strong live band. With the electronic and danceable sounds contrasting with the dreamy and vulnerable songs, MILA creates a contemporary and certainly interesting sound.
