Having kids ...ruins any concept of love, you previously held. Because, when you see your child .. you look into their powerless innocent eyes And see the vulnerable child you once were.. You realize you've been throwing this word "LOVE" around Probably said I love you to people in who's names you can't even remember. But, THIS.. THIS emotion you feel .. if THIS is Love ..then all those other declarations of love become lies, retroactively. And THEN .. you look over at the wonderful person who helped make the most beautiful child you've ever seen and KNOW .. "I want this child to love ME more than THEM"
