7:03 I have a Turkish family in the neighborhood and no one says hello. Last week in the morning when I went out to the office, the junior came towards me and accidentally said hello. I was surprised and said hello back because that's the way it should be. The junior usually lets his car warm up for a long time and plays on his cell phone before driving off. We are in a dead end where a narrow street leads to the main street. I walked along this narrow street. This morning he didn't warm up his car but drove off straight away, so I had to get out of his way to let him pass. That was my punishment for accidentally greeting me.

Why do little things infuriate us most and the big things, oh that's okay.

Some of these are more than "mildly irritating". Tip for disposing used cooking oil: I save empty pickle jars, sauce jars, peanut butter and mayonnaise jars. After the oil cools just pour it into a jar and toss it into the trash. If I'm out out jars, I'll use a couple of empty bread bags (make sure there are no holes) pour the used oil into the bag. Tie bag securely and throw it away.

I am most infuriated with the customer leaving Publix while the old man worker is pushing the customer's cart. Customer could've refused help with his cart....oh wait....

There are many reasons why the parking lot at the nursing home is empty. If the patient is well enough, they have been taken home with family to enjoy dinner for one. If it is a memory care facility the patient has no clue what day it is. And family may have come the day before or will the day after. Some patients have no living family left. And if you really want to show thanks please appreciate the staff who gives up their thanksgiving to take care of the patients. Guilt tripping is an awful fake virtue game. Stop it. Please. Thank you.
