Any mileage improvement technique? Like how and when to shift gears? How to accelerate? What to do when a car is standing over a long signal, shall we stop ignition or just be in neutral?

Hi bro i own active variant. I got mileage of 7kmpl in city due to some places I idle with ac on. In city 8-12kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic. In highway I got upto 24.2 with (medium Ac condition) with gentle use of accelerator and high gear, speed range maintained is 60-80kmph. I went upto 110kmph mileage drops to 16-17.

Bumper to Bumper traffic driving is really difficult with 1.5 litre engine. Pls do a vedio on how to drive on these conditions so that to get a better milage

I get 10-11 kmpl in Bangalore traffic and sometimes 12kml as well. In highway I can get 16-18kmpl with my 1L automatic kushaq style. I always use Ac

hi sir 1. sometimes the automatic comes down to D2 if its stopped suddenly and stays in D2 only instead of D1, again if I put to R and then get back to D then it shows D1, is this normal? 2. right now the car is at 400 km and brand new one, mileage is around 7 kmpl , does it set back after 1k km? please answer the above ones sir

1. Its normal. It works in that way. Even if it stopped at D2, it is capable to pull from there. 2. Mileage is all depends on your drive and traffic conditions. City drive with more signals and speed breakers it will be less. Also you need to drive between 60-80 kmpl for best fuel economy and keep RPM below 2000 for best avg.

1.0 tsi at topline with normal petrol n proper footing i m getting 23 to 25.6 kmpl highway. City, getting 11 to 14kmpl

I don’t own 1.5 dsg but as far as I know cylinder auto on off hota hai depending on the car speed & road obstacles.

Hi Shekhar, I owe a Kushaq 1.0 Style carbon steel. I am also a resident of Navi Mumbai. I have seen your video of ceramic coating from 3M on Palm beach road. Could you please let me know if ceramic coating is really worth the cost when compared to its some benefits? If yes, is 3M good or we shall consider other options too like one 3rd party service provided by Dr Auto dealership.

It totally depends on you. This require yearly touch ups and all and I don’t think it’s worth spending so much. I won’t go for it again. I just got it done once as the car was new. Cleaning becomes easy but scratches and all it won’t protect.
