Omni-man is one of my favorite characters to come into the mainstream in the past few years. Genuinely might be one of my favorite fictional characters ever. Not only is it great to see him in Mortal Kombat, but it's also great to see Max of all people love playing him.

Omniman is cool but I think it harms the setting when they throw in entirely unrelated characters in a game like this. It works better in a game that's actually about mixing up worlds.

I love how it almost everything Omni man says is definitely calm and not taking things seriously but his fighting is the exact opposite, also the fact he has like an ultra instinct dodge mechanic is kind of funny to me, i don’t know why

That last set vs Shao is _absolutely_ how they would both have their fight if they were canonically on the same level. Just get the hell in, beat down the other guy, be left standing sort of deal.

As a Liu Kang main, I really think Omni Man is his worst match up. Omni man can just enter stance whenever the characters are at full screen and eliminate any zoning, cutting my kit in half. Then I don't feel safe trying to close the distance because a single incorrectly timed forward dash can result in a teleport full combo punish. So I basically have to just sit and wait for him to approach me, which turns into a mix up game on whether I get hit overhead, low, or grabbed, and I have no good defensive option. So many rounds I fight against omni man players result in time just running out because they refuse to approach and I physically can't approach safely. This is all happening in grand master rank btw. Then the few Omni man players that don't just sit in stance at full screen looking for a teleport punish just go for the low-lao hat/ overhead dive unblockable into full combo over and over again and there is nothing you can do about it except hope your fuzzy block works if they time it wrong. I need to find an answer for this match up because the only time I win sets against omni man is if they do easily read unsafe attacks.

Jesus... At the end Shao got fucked big time by his own assist, that guy literally drop a combo and lost the corner because Jax kept smashing the damn ground. If I were him I would ditch Jax after that game.

I don't play this game, is Omni Man just unsafe on everything? Seeing Liu Kang get free combo starters from just blocking a basic 2/3 hit string gives me the impression he's super unsafe to throw anything out.

He is unsafe on every special. And I think like one or two strings are not safe either. That’s why kung Lao kameo is essential at high level. Omni man is very mid without him

I like Omni man and he’s super fun but I feel like he’s not amazing? Compared to a lot of other characters he’s so hard to open your opponent up and with upblock it’s just too easy to punish him for attacks.

Can someone explain me how the combo in 15:30 made that much damage? And why did it do over 50% when the damage counter said 466?

its a fatal blow that deal 350 damage + the begining of the combo and i think Max press multiple times the button to increase the damage a bit (i think its 3 or X on ps5). Johnny had only 900 hp so thats why it took half of his life. kameo can change the hp and some characters have more life like general shao for exemple.

@@micka0607I believe you can press either 1, 2 or 3 to get the damage bonus. If you're on the receiving end of a fatal blow you can also mash for reduced damage. It's a really dumb feature that the game never explains...

I think its not a armor, but a visual representation for when they hit your cameo.

He has it as part his fatal blow (complete with Turkey Bruce Lee yodel) Otherwise, they relied a lot more on real martial artists to record mocap and show what is actually practical to perform, Liu’s new Dancing Dragon replacing the bicycle kick being one of them. Look up Noah Fleder (who also was the face model for Kenshi) and Gamology to see him breaking down the moves he created for Liu Kang for reference.

Man I'm having problems in certain match ups with omniman stiff normal trex arms he's definitely a gimmick character where everything relys on his stance and you you make your opponents guess and his best string 222 is very hard to cancel cause he just finishes it off

I'm starting to hate fighting Lui Kang more then Johnny I won't go that far I just hate fighting them as my main really got the hardiest nerf NRS history baraka got nerfed yet again nerfing his main cameo is fine, then they mad calling Cyrax more stricter with the timing nerfed his damage gave his fastest string combo a gape making it essentially two highs now he can't combo convert his circle moves I'm staying with baraka but watch these lame ass carry characters get nerfed and they run to the next S tier characters I mean they ne fed baraka so bad with omniman patch he's bottom 3

Sareena is by far the most annoying Kameo. No skill to use her and watching your opponent use her for like 10 seconds to call her twice in a row to artificially extend their combos is so annoying to wait through.
